To accompany the recognition given to the artist, who is now present in the heart of his city with an esplanade named after him, the foundation has published a richly illustrated book written by fifteen very different authors: former students, for example, through deliberately short and light texts, reveal memories and anecdotes tinged with humour and affection towards their former teacher. Among them are Jean Steinauer, Frédéric Wandelère and Théophanis Kapsopoulos. A contribution retraces the history of this place through the centuries, while other personal testimonies complete an unpublished portrait of Armand Niquille.
